How to Use Pinterest to Promote Your Podcast (and Grow Your Audience Long-Term)

Pinterest for Podcasters with Pin Better® method for Podcasters course

I have been speaking to clients a lot recently about Pinterest and podcasts…and so felt called to get some tangible tips on the blog for you to dive in for yourselves!

I’m a lover of Pinterest, it’s why I developed a proprietary method and course on how to use it to grow brand visibility and website traffic organically using this platform….

Podcast promotion doesn’t have to feel like you’re constantly blasting out content and short-lived posts. If you want your episodes to reach new listeners again and again—without constantly reinventing the marketing wheel—Pinterest is the perfect platform to add to your strategy. That’s why I’ve created the Pin Better® method for Podcasters mini course!

Unlike Instagram or TikTok where your content disappears after a day or two, Pinterest is a visual search engine. Every Pin you create can work as a long-lasting link back to your podcast, circulating for months (or even years) after you publish it. With the right approach, you can turn each episode into an evergreen traffic driver and visibility booster.

Here are some simple, effective ways to start promoting your podcast on Pinterest:

1. Create Branded Pin Graphics

Design attention-grabbing covers using your podcast artwork, guest photos, or powerful quotes from your episodes.

  • Keep fonts bold, clean, and easy to read.

  • Use headlines that entice curiosity (e.g., “5 Ways to Build Authentic Visibility” vs. “Episode 12”).

2. Link Pins Directly to Episodes

Make every Pin a gateway to your content.

  • Link to a specific episode landing page, your website, or your preferred podcast platform.

  • Add clear CTAs like “Listen Now” or “Stream the Full Episode.”

3. Leverage Rich Pins & Idea Pins

Take advantage of Pinterest’s built-in features:

  • Idea Pins let you share short clips, audiograms, or swipeable “3 Tips from This Episode.”

  • Rich Pins can auto-pull your titles and descriptions so your content stays up to date.

4. Use Keyword-Rich Descriptions

Treat Pinterest like the search engine it is.

  • Add specific keywords to your Pin titles and descriptions (e.g., “business podcast for conscious leaders” or “sound healing meditation episode”).

  • Think about what your ideal listener is typing into search.

5. Promote Evergreen Episodes

Don’t just Pin the latest release—share your timeless content, too.

  • Your story, your methodology, or “Top 10 Tips” episodes stay relevant for years.

  • Evergreen Pins keep driving listens long after launch.

6. Drive Email List Growth

Think beyond streams.

  • Instead of linking only to Spotify or Apple, send people to your website.

  • Offer show notes, freebies, or guides so listeners join your email list.

7. Analytics for Engagement Lead the Way

Let data guide your next move.

  • Track which Pins get the most clicks, saves, or listens.

  • Double down on the formats, designs, and topics that perform best.

Why Pinterest Works for Podcasts

The biggest advantage? Pinterest builds links that last forever. Once your Pin is live, it can be re-pinned, saved, searched, and resurfaced over and over again. That means each episode has the potential to keep finding new listeners long after you’ve moved on to your next recording.

Want to Go Deeper?

Some of the most powerful tactics—like repurposing one episode into multiple Pins, creating episode boards by theme, and aligning your podcast content with seasonal/trending searches—are strategies I’ll be teaching in my upcoming course, Pin Better® Method for Podcasters.

If you’re ready to maximize visibility and build a repeatable system for long-term podcast growth, pre-order the Pin Better® method course for podcasters here and get immediate access to the new Pin Better® Method for Podcaster course when it goes live!

If you’ve been relying only on short-lived social posts to promote your podcast, Pinterest is your chance to create a strategy that’s both evergreen and scalable. With just a few Pins per episode, you’ll build a growing library of discoverable, clickable content that drives new audiences to your show every single day.

Welcome to My New Chapter: Stepping into Alignment

After two decades in the desert and over 15 years leading brands, I’ve stepped into a new chapter—one rooted in alignment, embodiment, and truth. This post is both a welcome and an invitation to journey with me as I merge strategy with somatic practices, sound healing, and soulful living - the tools I’ve used to build a life that feels as good as it looks.

After more than 15 years building brands and leading businesses, and the past few years diving deep into somatic practices, sound, and soul work, I find myself standing at a threshold. Leaving the Arizona desert after two decades opened space for renewal—a chance to reconnect with water, movement, and my own truth. This new chapter isn’t just about launching a website; it’s about stepping into alignment with the woman I’ve become: a blend of strategist and energy interpreter, rooted in psyche, soma, and soul. Here, I’ll be sharing insights, offerings, and reflections that bridge the worlds of business and embodiment, guiding others toward lives and brands that feel as good as they look.

Closing One Chapter to Begin Another

For years, my work was centered in the marketing agency world. I built RielDeal Marketing from the ground up and had the honor of supporting dozens of clients across industries. Yet, as fulfilling as it was to help client’s brands success, I could feel something shifting within me. My father’s passing in 2013 cracked open a doorway to deeper spiritual awareness, and over time, initiations in 2017 and again in the last two years called me inward.

What I discovered was that growth doesn’t always happen in the hustle—it often blooms in the pause. Closing one chapter created space for me to rediscover my own voice, body, and energy in ways I hadn’t before.

What Alignment Means to Me

Alignment isn’t about perfection. It’s about resonance. It’s the moment when your inner truth and outer expression harmonize—when the work you do, the way you show up, and the energy you carry are all flowing in the same direction.

For me, alignment looks like merging my years of business experience with the tools and practices that nourish the nervous system and spirit: somatic movement, yoga, sound healing, frequency therapy, and intuitive guidance. It means showing up fully—not just as a strategist, or a healer, or a mentor—but as all of me, unapologetically.

The Work I Do Now

Much like yoga teaches us to flow with the breath and surrender into each posture in our own unique body, my work now is about guiding others into relationship with their body - their own lives and (maybe even) businesses. Alignment happens when you learn to listen deeply—to your body, to your energy, and to your truth—and then move from that place with trust.

Today, my offerings are rooted at the intersection of business strategy and embodied energetics. I hold space for founders, creatives, and conscious leaders to bring their visions into form in ways that feel both expansive and sustainable. That may look like:

  • Somatic practices and nervous system support to help you ground, regulate, and create from a place of wholeness.

  • Sound healing and frequency therapy to clear energetic blocks and restore harmony.

  • Yoga and mindful movement to reconnect you to the wisdom of your body.

  • Intuition-led mentorship and brand strategy to align your voice, vision, and visibility.

Working with me isn’t just about strategy or healing—it’s about embracing both. It feels like being met fully, seen for all that you are, and invited into a space where your vision is honored and your energy is supported. Clients often describe it as equal parts grounding and activating: a blend of practical clarity and soulful expansion.

What You Can Expect Here

This blog is more than a space for updates. It’s an invitation to wholeness. For myself, and maybe for you, too.

Here, I’ll share:

  • Reflections from my personal journey of growth, healing, and reinvention.

  • Insights on building brands, businesses, and offerings that feel aligned and authentic.

  • Practices and tools from yoga, somatic work, and sound that support nervous system regulation and embodiment.

  • Stories that remind us we’re not alone in navigating change, endings, and new beginnings.

Whether you’re a founder, a creative, or simply a human seeking more flow and authenticity, my hope is that these words serve as a reminder: you are allowed to evolve.

An Invitation to Journey Together

Stepping into alignment isn’t a one-time event—it’s a lifelong practice. I don’t have it all figured out, but I do know this: we’re not meant to walk this path alone.

If you’re here reading these words, welcome. I invite you to explore the offerings on this site, join me in a class or event, or simply return to this space when you need inspiration or grounding.

This is just the beginning of a new chapter, and I’m so grateful to have you along for the journey.

Here’s to stepping into alignment, together.
